What Chocolate do we use?
Food is Art uses finest Belgian chocolate, used by master chocolate makers and pastry chefs the world over. It is called Callebaut or Belcolade and arrives in buttons, which we melt and temper by hand. We use Dark, Milk and White Chocolate.
We can use other types of chocolate by request at additional cost. For example single origin chocolate or organic/ fair trade. Please email us with your requirement. 
 
Ingredients: 
Dark Chocolate: (53.8%% cocoa solids) (Cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, real vanilla). 
Milk Chocolate: (35% cocoa solids) (Sugar, Cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifier: Soya Lecithin, real vanilla). 
White Chocolate: (19% cocoa butter) (Sugar, cocoa butter, dry whole milk powder, emulsifier: Soya lecithin, real vanilla).
 
Is the gold edible? What is it?
We use edible colours and dusts that are used all over the world and are safe to eat. 
 
How are your products made?
Each item is made by hand to order. We do not keep stock, so each items has to be made to order. Please allow time for the creation of your order. This way the chocolate is fresh. 
 
What Chocolate do you use for the sculptures?
Prudence uses the same very high quality chocolate for her large sculptures, even sculptures of people’s heads!
 
Allergy Information
All our products may contain nuts. We do not use nuts very often at the chocolate studio, but as even the smallest trace can be a problem we CANNOT guarantee they are nut free.

All chocolate may contain traces of nuts, milk, wheat, and rice.
 
Lollipop sticks
All chocolate lollipops and the chocolate roses have a food grade wooden stick. Which the chocolate can be eaten around very easily, like an ice-cream.

Packaging 
All bags and boxes are food grade acetate or cellophane.
